The name ThoSay, crafted from the initials of founder Anamaria Chiorean's son, carries the profound meaning of self-expression - TO SAY.

Raised in the heart of Romania’s mountains, Anamaria Chiorean grew up surrounded by the raw purity of the natural world. The scent of fresh fir trees near her home, the crystal-clear stream flowing through the forest, the sunlight filtering into quiet meadows where imagination ran free, and the hilltop view of mountain peaks and her small village—these vivid memories shaped her vision of beauty and authenticity.
ThoSay is a reflection of those roots, transformed into fine jewelry that carries nature’s spirit and the human story it inspires.
As a young adult, Anamaria Chiorean began her career in media, starting in radio where she quickly rose to become head of the news department, a talk-show host, and a correspondent for both national and international outlets. Her desire to explore the world would only come to life after she left journalism—more than a decade later.
While traveling, she embraced new cultures, perspectives, and ways of thinking. And it was during one of these journeys—standing in front of a jewelry store window in New York—that she experienced a moment of revelation, one that would forever alter her path.
What followed was over ten years of professional growth in PR, marketing, and business. But the most profound transformation came with the birth of her son. His arrival not only changed her daily life, but reshaped her vision of the world—deepening her connection to creativity, purpose, and self-expression.
During the pandemic, Anamaria began shaping what would become ThoSay—a project born from personal meaning. The name comes from the initials of her son and carries a deeper message: to say, to express. At its heart, ThoSay is built on a mission to bring people together and build an authentic community.

While window-shopping at a major jewelry house in New York, Anamaria dreams of creating pieces with deeper meaning, jewelry that inspires and travels the world with purpose.

The pandemic prompts Anamaria to share healing messages from her psychology background. But she realizes something tactile is needed, something you can wear, feel and carry every day.
The Dream Takes Form

ThoSay is born with the launch of The Dream Collection, 14K gold and diamond pieces designed as wearable affirmations. The name “ThoSay” comes from her son’s initials and means “to say” what’s true for you.
The Vision Expands

ThoSay releases two new collections: Nature and T by ThoSay, deepening its mission to merge fine jewelry with authentic self-expression.
